BAD DAY, GOOD DAY, FIBRO LIFE.

Foggy or fatigued?  An endless struggle,

Your knight strikes a pawn, the pain takes your queen,

Strangled with support, inevitably losing the game.

Smile, hide it well, they won’t notice the unseen

Illnesses you feel, burning fires of blue flame.

You’re tempered steel, yet moulded clay,

Tears, a tidal wave of strength and grace,

The crones are slipping, more control today.

Yellow sun, tempest at peace, you resurface

hopeful of a blue sky. No forecast to interpret,

What can you do? Run, don’t look back, no retreat.

A moment of peace.

    1. That must have horrible! Thanks for the advice 🙂 I try to cycle every day and my partner is my personal masseuse. Sometimes I find it hard to feel motivated to write through the pain, but then again, some of my rawest work comes from that place. P.s. I love your posts 🙂

      1. Thank you 🙂

My gosh, it’s hard to believe there are still people (medical professionals especially) who don’t think it’s real. Would be interesting to see what their counter diagnosis’ would be though.
