FREEWRITING

Check out these Freewriting musings as I share some of my documented Freewriting sessions, Writing Exercises and Emotive Creative Writing that isn’t confined by conventional rules. Enter a Wonderland of Freewriting.

SLEEP STUDY, ACROSTIC POETRY

I didn’t realise I could be so bored taking part in a three day sleep study. Turns out, extreme boredom makes you want to take a long nap. Shame I’m not allowed to nod off.

WORK IN PROGRESS

Lets face it, Work In Progress is bad poetry, but no lies were told!

SIMON SAYS

Finally, someone stands up to Simon and his commands!

SHIT POETRY

Freewriting or Poetry? Either way, this is conventional!

BAD DAY, GOOD DAY, FIBRO LIFE.

After being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, I found it hard to communicate how I feel each day, so I chose to write free-form poetry.

Office Slave

This is a therapeutic free-write that I composed at work, days before having surgery in August 2015. I quit my job two weeks later and then jetted off to travel the world four weeks following that. Please bear in mind, this is a raw free-write, written in pain with a lot of anger.

The Time Catalyst

I wrote this whilst practicing my controlled free-writing sessions. It’s a very raw piece of material that has seldom been edited.

Free Writing quotes that I love

Writing is the painting of the voice; the closer the resemblance, the better it is.’

Voltaire

I lean to you, numb as a fossil. Tell me I’m here.’

Sylvia Plath

‘Once in a golden hour I cast to earth a seed.  Up there came a flower,  The people said, a weed.’

Alfred Lord Tennyson
