Welcome to a safe space to explore the effects of living with chronic pain and other disabilities. I hope my writing helps someone to feel they are not alone. To help someone understand how living with disabilities and pain can affect a person and every crevice of their life.
I hope you feel that this is a sanctuary from the outside world, of plastering on a smile and auto-responding to the infamous, ‘how are you?’ with, ‘yeah, I’m fine, you?‘

NEW DIAGNOSIS, NEW ME
We’ve all heard the cliché, new year, new me. How many people can say they’ve followed through with their ambitious resolutions?

Bad Day, Good Day, Fibro Life.
I was recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia after waiting in undiagnosed purgatory for years.
I found it hard to write about how I feel each day, living with Fibromyalgia. So I chose to free write poetry, trying not to edit to much.
I hope reading this makes you feel as uncomfortable as I feel sometimes 🙂
Quotes About Life Writing
‘…And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.’
Sylvia Plath
‘Writing isn’t about making money, getting famous, getting dates, getting laid, or making friends. In the end, it’s about enriching the lives of those who will read your work, and enriching your own life, as well.’
Stephen King
‘You own everything that happened to you. Tell your stories. If people wanted you to write warmly about them, they should have behaved better.’
Anne Lamott
